
Gerry Antman, Hon. B.A., J.D
Gerry’s practice focuses primarily on motor vehicle collisions including those involving cyclists and pedestrians, occupier’s liability cases and medical malpractice; He has represented clients at the Ontario Court of Justice, Superior Court of Justice and Court of Appeal; He has also been involved in accident benefits arbitrations and hearings at the Financial Services Commission of Ontario and Licence Appeal Tribunal.
Gerry is a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School, where he obtained a Dean’s Letter Recognizing Cumulative Overall Excellence for graduating in the top 3% of the graduating class; Gerry was awarded the Sir Jack Jacob Prize in the Administration of Justice and the Jack Walker, Q.C., Award for Excellence in Legal Ethics and Professionalism; He is also a published academic author, having been published in the Canadian Class Action Review.
Prior to law school, Gerry worked as a case manager throughout the Province of Ontario, with a focus on individuals who sustained catastrophic injuries from motor vehicle collisions; He developed experience providing treatment for individuals with brain injuries, chronic pain, spinal cord injuries and amputations; Gerry’s past experience as a case manager provides clients with excellent insight into the complex automobile insurance system in Ontario.
