Fabio Longo, Hon. B.A., M.A., LL.B
Fabio is the owner of Longo Lawyers. He is a staunch advocate for victims suffering serious injuries and those wrongfully denied insurance benefits. His primary practice involves brain injury litigation, spinal cord injuries, psychological disability and representing individuals that suffered catastrophic injuries. One of his cases remains a leading decision on the legal test for Catastrophic Impairment. In addition to serving clients at his firm, he is hired by other injury law firms to represent their clients as lead counsel on complex cases. Fabio’s practice also includes acting for lawyers and their insurer in the area of professional errors and omissions. He has acted for Ontario Trial Lawyers Association (OTLA) as proposed intervener at the Ontario Court of Appeal. He is regularly asked to lecture or is a panellist for professional organizations such as Osgoode Professional Development, OTLA and others. He is a faculty member at Canadian Society of Medical Evaluators Catastrophic Impairment Certification, C-CAT. In that role he has lectured and instructed hundreds of medical experts on catastrophic assessments.
